Car Driver Dies in Kamping Puoy Bassin

BATTAMBANG: A luxury car fell into the Komping Pouy Bassin, causing the death of its driver.

According to preliminary reports, the accident occurred some time between the night of Monday, 26 September, or early morning of Tuesday, 27 September, at the Kamping Puoy Bassin in Ta Kream commune, Banan district, Battambang province.

Until now, the victim has been identified as a man named Heng Bandith, however, his address has not yet been found. The victim's car, a white Nissan with the license plate Battambang 2G-9989, had fallen almost completely into the basin.

As of 9 am this morning, authorities were looking for a way to lift the car out of the basin and back on to land to properly identify the victims.
